Introduction to EYFS Presentation

Meet the team:

Class Teachers: Mrs Khanom, Mrs Rowlands

Early Years educator: Miss Kain

Teaching Assistant: Mrs Ahmed

SEND support staff: Mrs Drosu

Midday Supervisor: Mrs Givens

Key Information:

P.E: Tuesday

Please ensure your child comes into school wearing the correct PE kit on this day. Our PE uniform is black shorts/joggers, a white T-shirt and a black jumper or their school jumper. All PE kits should be free from any logo or brand name. All jewellery must be removed.

Library:  The class visit the library on a Wednesday 1:30pm each week. Please remember your child's library book so that they can change their book and bring a new one home.

Phonics: Please ensure your child's phonics folder (with their books) comes in to school every day so that they have it available when it needs changing. The book changing day will differ depending on which group they are in and where they are in the teaching cycle. We asses the children every half term and we will keep you informed on where your child is and what support you can give them.

Reading: We encourage the children to read their phonics book at least 3 times a week. The children are already familiar with the phonics books that have been sent home. This is so that the children can focus on fluency and speed of reading at home.
